Title: Walking stick!

I'm making a walking stick. I found a nice long piece of wood, plenty of knots to give it that cool snakey look. :D This will be very sentimental to me in the future as i am going to let a lot of my friends and family to sign it and then i will put a clear finish on it. I would really appreciate it if any of you who have made walking sticks would post your pictures so i can get a few ideas. And tell me what you think about my project. Thanks in advance!!! 8)

P.s. I'm 17 so don't "need a walking stick just yet. I just thought i would be pretty cool to have something like this for when i'm old and senile to remember the good times.

I'm 23 and a walking stick is VERY helpful traversing steep and slippery terrain...3 points of contact is always better than one or 2 feet.

I have on in the works with a beautiful spiral in it.
