We have the bow swap going on. The PITH hat is just about done. Any interest in a Knife in the Hat? I was in one a couple years ago and had a great time.

I would say some type of sheath or display stand. Nothing fancy.

I think any material is OK as long as it will work as a knife. (IE: cut on contact).

i would like to get in too , do you have to make the blade? or can it be handle and sheath? i have some blanks and i promise you don't want me to try and forge a blade ;D

I have no problem if someone wants to buy a blade blank and finish it. I am doing that (not for the trade, for myself).

I'd love to play, but my production has slowed to a crawl lately.  I'm already in a KITH on another site, and it's going to be a push to get it done in time.  If we have one this fall or winter I'll jump in.

Got this beauty from bowtarist today. 8) Made from a farriers rasp and wood from a hawk handle he has had for 25 years.

Here's a couple pics of the knife I received from hickorybill. I've never seen a sheath like this one before. It's narrow strips of leather stitched together with artificial sinew. The zebra wood handle is nice.

Thanks for posting pics Bevan.  Hope you get some use out of it.  I know it's a lot of metal, but sometimes it's nice to have a bigger knife.  ;)

Got my other KITH trade today!! Very neat Brazilian Agate knife with a Cholla handle (left hollow {very cool}) capped with yellowheart, purpleheart, and zebra wood. On a ceder stand. I wish the photo's were better. the flake scars on the knife are great!!

I got both of mine, I've just been too busy to post a pic.  I will get one up this evening.  They both look great.  Also, I finally finished the quillwork on the two I made.  They were shipped out Monday.

I got mine from madcrow today. nice little burl(?) handled patch knife with a smokey smelling brain tanned sheath decorated w/ porky quills.  Very pleased Eddie, thank You so much, derik

Thanks for the comments.  Derik that's curly cherry scales, I stabilized them with super glue, and then used super glue for the finish.  The hole in the handle is for streaking arrow shafts.  The steel is sawblade.

"Streaking" or Straightening arrow shafts?  Not sure what streaking is, but I like the idea of having an arrow straighener on my knife.  Sounds like I need to turn it into a qhiver knife if that is the case.  Thanks for the info. dp

Here is my knife I got from Bevan R... It is antler and obsidian wrapped with rawhide.  It is beautiful!  Pics do not do this knife justice.  I am unsure what the sheath is made from but it is beautiful as well.  Thanks again Bevan I love it!   :)
