In a few weeks we are going to cut some staves of Oregon Myrtle/califronia bay which is related to the laurel family which includes avocados.
I was wondering does any one know if the wood can be worked to a bow right away with out checking or does it have to be sesoned first?
It supost to make a good bow and the wood is beautiful. thanks
