Hey folks, Just got my billets ready to glue up for the 2012Idaho bearhunt bow im building. I don't have any smooth on but I do have some Urac, just wondering if ya'll think that would work OK...I'm not sure of it's gap filling properties....Thanks in advance, Dave

I would suggest a metal expoxy rather.
-
Two ton epoxy in the doube syrenge should work fine for the sleaves. I'm not sure how well Urac would adere t the brass sleeve.
-
2ton is great epoxy for wood to wood contact....worthless on metal. Pat, put it on a flat piece of steel it will chip off easily. I do like it for splices...Devcon 30 minute set, don't use the 5 minute too brittle.

Has anyone trie the pc-7 epoxy???
-
I have, it holds up pretty good, so far.
-
Called the company on the pc-7 they said it should work well.....I personally have not used it.

Hi-jack...Pat, Dave what are your sleeves from? I am getting ready to tackle a takedown and I am looking for sleeve options out there other than three-rivers products.
As for the glue, I love urac, but have not done anything other than wood-to-wood with it.
