Finally found time to finish these 3 I started on awhile back. No paraticular destination in mind yet (except deer!) >:D >:D
All primitive, cane from Mark, turkey feathers, sinew and pine pitch set with self nocks
Let me know what ya think.

those are some mighty fine arrows ya made there
oughta take deer no problem
im hoping to use those points ya knapped for me next fall
-
Very nice. They should do the trick for you. Only thing I'd suggest is to add more wrap behind the point. I usually go about 1" wide for my wraps at the point.

Nice looking arrows Stringman. hope they get stained red for ya. dpgratz

I think youre right, Pat. I do want to add a little more wrapping behind the point.
Also, forgot to mention, they came in pretty light at 415 grns. Is that common for cane? Even added dowel to the front to give it FOC. But should I be concerned to shoot these from a 55# bow??

I think they look great, well done.

Nice!
I don't think I've ever had a cane arrow come in that light. Did you spine test them?
-
Nope, my arrow makin skills are not that sohisticated yet. ;)
