Title: Short Osage bow for trade
Post by: gstoneberg on February 18, 2012, 07:42:41 am
Guys, I made a short osage molly early last year.  It's 52" long, unbacked, and pulls in the low 50s @ 26" which is too short for me.  Now that I've made a short bow that goes to my full draw length I'm sure I won't shoot this one.  It bothers me for it to sit with no hope of being used.  In fact, the bow really hasn't even been shot in, probably less than 50 arrows through it.  That's because I hate to short draw.  It also has no finish or handle wrap on it yet.  Anyway, the reason for the post is that I would love to see the bow go to somebody who'll finish it up and use it.  Here is the old post with pictures: http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,23872.0.html (http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,23872.0.html)   I can use most anything, but since I hate to make arrows I would love to get primitive arrows or straightened shafts in trade (~50#).  Here are a couple pictures from the old post:

Also, I could go ahead and finish it if you'd prefer.

Thanks,
George
