Title: Oregon Chain Saw Sharpener
Post by: Bevan R. on February 05, 2012, 09:41:47 pm
I no longer cut firewood so I do not need this. I thought I would try it here for trades before I put it on the auction site.

It is an Oregon Chainsaw Sharpener. Model 511A.
There is a 1/4" flattening wheel on it now. Included is 1 - 1/8" round wheel and 2 - 3/16" round wheels. Manuals & dressing stone.
I still have the receipt for this. It cost me $275.00
I am looking for bow wood, and knappables. But I will entertain any offer.

I would agree. I would have at least 6 chains and would wait until they all needed sharpening, then sit down in the shop and run through them all.

Don't know if you need any wild turkey feathers but I have many hundreds, full length, L/W with the bases ground by Raven arrows. Would be very generous with my feathers on a trade.

I can come up with a lot of hickory bow blanks as well but they have only been cut for about 6 months.

Did a little checking. How about 2 hickory bow blanks, one seasoned, very nice osage bow blank ( some nice snakey spots in the limbs) with tip over lays glued on and 200 feathers ready to chop or burn to shape for the sharpener.
