This bow was made on short notice for a friend of mines youngest son Jessie . It was made from an inner split off another Osage bow I made. It already had the general gull wing shape so I heated in some recurves ,tillered it and glued on some prairie rattler skins. The accents are just yarn and the handle wrap is beaver tail rawhide. If you are wondering why I made the recurves so long, it was to make it a lower draw weight.for now. When the boy gets stronger, his dad can just pike it a few inches, cut in some new nocks and presto , stronger bow. I'm not real proud of the work on this bow, but only had one weekend to get it done. You may notice the arrow rest is on the wrong side for him by conventional standards, but he has his own style and who am I to tell him he's wrong. I truly wish that I would have had more time on this one, but the boy didn't mind that it wasn't perfect. If he's happy , so am I. Josh

That is a very nice bow Josh. nice flowing lines and looks like it will be a good shooter. Good for you for helping promote and birth a new Primitive Archer!

Good work Man! Love anything with sexy curves...

Cracking looking bow and great idea on the longer "adjustable" recurves.

Thanks fellas!
Dwardo -the only problem with the long recurves like that is the added dead weight where it counts the most. It won't be an issue once its piked of course. Right now its a little doggy.
Thanks, Josh

Thank you Bakh. How is the traditional archer recruitment going in your part of the world Mr. Ambassador ? ;) Josh

Love it Josh. That is a sweet little bow. Well done, Doc

Josh to me you did a perfect job. The young man was pleased and since he has shot enough to develop
his "own style" that counts for a lot. And you did not try to turn him into a more conventional shooter which
could have done a whole lot of damage in a lot of ways. And you encouraged him to follow the path less
traveled. Hell of a job ,man.
And the bow aint bad either.
