and the last several time I've tried all I made was a pile of gravel. We had the youth group over Sunday evening for a campfire and one of the kids that had shown interest in knapping before asked a few more questions. So, I sat down beside him with a big obsidian flake and showed him the little bit that I know. That kinda got the itch going again, so I brought my tools to work with me and knocked these 2 out during lunch the past couple of days.

Those are real nice i need to get me some obsidian and give it a try. The only time i have messed with any was when i first got started and i broke every bit a guy gave me.

Can't hardly get off this job anymore like i used to :(. Eddie: i'll be in Anderson, SC next month. Too late probably. That's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes :).
