Got another pc of west texas stone that wanted to be a point. Managed to save some of the nice pinkish red color also. This point also turned a corner for me an ended up at 6 to 1 thickness ratio. Finally got a thin one for a change. I still left lots of little finger nail hinges an still need to clean things up overall, left my self lots of room for improvment ;D ;D Thanks for lookin. Bob

Nice point! I like that material, I got a chance to work some of that stuff last weekend. Pretty good rock, I like the color. If that's rust I'm looking forward to you gettin some WD40! ;)

Bowartist, just went an weighed this point, just a little over 150 gr. It's also 2-3/8" by 1-1/8. Again Thanks for lookin.

Thanks OBB. I just got myself a scale after 3 months into knapping, really gave a perpective on size when looking at a point or a piece of rock that I'm atempting to pulverize. ;D Sweet point!
