Title: petrified wood point

That is one nice looking point. Did you heat treat the rock?

of course he didn't, if he did it would be a piece of charcoal ;)

thank's guy's, and ya i cooked it in the kitchen stove at 450, put it in with some mook and some other stuff turned it on and let it go 1 1/2 - 2 hrs, Bub
oh yeah, i meant agatized wood, not opalized, had a brain fart on that one

thank's tower, all the petrifyed wood i've used look's cool, but this is the first that had agate in the point, Bub

Cool point and a killer for sure bubby. I picked up a bunch of petrified wood in ND but have yet tried to knap any - may have to now.
