Hello all
I just got vol.1 of the tbb this a.m. and I haven't put it
down for more than a few mins. I wish I would've got
it beforr I started trying build bows. Just wondering if

Oh yea mine are all dog eared. I still reread them ocassionally.

I would say that, for me, volumns one and four are the two most practical and valuable for my uses. The middle two have some really good stuff in them as well, but quite a few chapters are pretty focused on specific areas in which I am not too interested. It's good stuff and well done, but not what I'm after. That said, the each have some valuable information as well. But, if you are limited, I'd say pickup volumes one and four.

I would get the whole set.. they are all great!

I just like lookin' at the perty pitchers! ;D
I think the only one I need is vol I, but each of the others adds information and techniques to refine, inspire, and challenge. There are a lot of bows in all 4 volumes I will never build. Reading about them helps me to understand them, how they work, the driving mechanical principals behind them; information that would help me make better bows NOW if I would slow down and enjoy the process!

Volume Two is my favorite, I've always liked pretty curves. :)

Yeah I have definetly learned a lot already
From vol.1 I would like to have all 4 vols.
I also have Jim Hamms bowsand arrows
of the native americans. So far just skimmed through
it but seems to have good info as well.
I just can't get enough of this primitive archery
Its an addiction >:D.I find myself driving
Around picking out trees in the nieghbors yards
>:D I'm hooked

You ain't the first one to find himself "cruisin' for timber". Just be careful doing it next to elementary schools.
Don't ask me how I know that! Let's just say having an axe, hatchet, maul, splitting wedges, polyurathane, and such in your rig can be misconstrued.
