Went over to a buddy's place yesterday to do some shooting, a little scouting of where we plan to hunt on Saturday.
When I retrieved one of my arrows from the bale the stone point was broken off. I got the point in a trade or possibly was given to me some time ago. It had fairly deep notches in it which is where it broke. One of the "ears" is still glued in place but the rest of the point stayed in the bale....oh well, it'll be simple enough to glue in another point and that arrow will be like new.
I just hate to lose a nice point like that....though it's the first time it's ever happened to me. I'm glad it happened while target shooting rather than when hunting.

i could rival the amount of arrows shot in the hundred years war if i searched in the grass of my yard :-[
