Title: Antelope Cape Quiver
Post by: Almostpighunter on September 22, 2011, 04:10:03 am
Made a quiver from an antelope cape I received from Andy Thomas in trade. Couldn't save the whole face but managed to keep the ears.

Thank you Andy  :) .

@Medicinewheel: Had a good teacher  ;)

To anyone else looking at this, the design is from medicinewheel's How-to Build-a-Long "Wild Boar Hide Quiver". I have to say I learned very quickly when building these things about who is the master and who is the student as I had to modify the design to accommodate my own inability. Still, I am ridiculously happy with the results so  a big THANK YOU to medicinewheel for posting the build-a-long. Anyone interested can find the build-a-long in the "How to and Build a long" section on the site.

Mike, thanks for the flowers! I'm glad my build-a-long was helpful to some of you guys; feels nice to be able to give something in return for all that I have learned from this community!

Looks like her learned REAL well...and it is real nice to have folks take the time to put together those build-a-longs and share their hard earned experience with everyone.  This site rocks!
