A bunch of neck knife blades I made this weekend out of buffalo river, coral and texas, not sure what kind of texas. The texas had to be heat treated,it was really tough before.I'm gonna haft them to some antler tines.

Those are some nice looking blades - i like that style! I've been wanting to do some knives but haven't had a chance to sit down and knap :(.

awesome! ....is it time to stitch together the sheaths yet? :)

Eric, those are some beautiful knives. They look to be the perfect size to carry on your quiver or make into neck knives. Bill

Hey bill, the one on the bottom left is a piece of that tennessee chert you gave me at one of the astb shoots last year,or may have been year before last.I heat treated some of it and it made it knap alot better.
-
Well... it took a couple of hours but we finally finished the sheaths for all of them. We finished them pretty quickly I think we made all 5 in under 2 hours... I think they turned out pretty nice myself. :)

AWESOME JOB!! you get all that braiding done in 2 hrs too?

not braiding... reverse twisting like how you make a bow string... it's faster and looks better to me with this suede lace. :)

great work!!!
