Title: This Dzn Is For Me
Post by: hillbilly61 on September 12, 2011, 11:25:08 pm
This dzn I made for myself getting ready for hunting season. I put duplex points on 6 for target. Tiped 2 with stone that I shot (they are killers) 4 left open, don't know what kind of points I want on them yet. Maybe 3 blade Woodsmans?

Nice.

Is the duplex point simply a duplex nail with the second head ground to a point? Great idea for cane shafts, thank you.

Nice lookin' arrows hb61.  I've yet to try bannana fletching, seems to be what you prefer.  What flavor kool-aid are the green feathers?   :D

PeteDavis...That's exactly what they are. They're not my idea. I just got them from another on here. ;)

Pappy, sadie.....Thank you. I sure hope so ;D

bowtarist....They are a T-Hawk cut. Kind of a cross between banana and parabolic. It is a neon green food coloring, used the same way as the kool-aid is done.

Sweet arrows HB61! Is that artificial sinew wrap? If it is, do you use any kind of glue on the wrap? or just heat the wrap so the wax melts. I've heard of people using super glue on art. sinew but don't I know how that works (or not) with the wax.

It is art sinew and I coat it with super glue. After the super glue dries, Icoat them with clear nail polish.
