Lyptus wood

wood workers dream. Reasonable priced straight grained pinkish lovely wood.
Bow makers nightmare.
Tried to make 2 ELB's with it an RFDF and a static recurve.
Static broke.
2 ELB's snapped clean getting into the home stretch (unless I'm dong something serriously wrong).
RFDF wont fit into a moderate form with out heat even when cut to 1/4" laminations.
Light weight and super rigid. While it was working it was feeling pretty nice on the tree. A bit like it compounds quickly though.
Plan for the other 1/2 of the board. (1) cut into thin laminations to go between bamboo and hickory as an action wood. (2) make arrows.
