hey guys,i have been working on a primitive fishing arrow.it has a river cane shaft,fire hardened oak foreshaft with bamboo tines.all was wrapped with hemp cordage.i call this one "mcnasty".tell me what you think,steve

Justin,it work great.this is not the first one that i have made.i use ones like this in shallow water because it is not attatched to a string.you have to be able to go after these.these are great for fish in the creeks.thanks for looking,steve

Nice work, how do you get the fish off? I'm assuming that you pull the entire shaft all the way through?

that is how you get them off semo.there is no string attached.

the barbs are held in with tite-bond 3.the barbs are made with bamboo skewers ct down to length.they are as tough as nails and don't break.you guys should make some.they are great for shallow water.
