Title: I'm looking for the warbow of dreams
Post by: elisonj on July 15, 2011, 03:32:20 am
Hi guys! my name is Elison and I'd like to meet a bowyer  or a people who can helpe me. I'm Brazilian, and I have been programming travel to england only to buy a Mary Rose longbow, and meet some peoples who like medieval archery like me. Since I was born I'm complete in love for medieval archery, and I will realize my dream to travel and buy a bow soon... So, I'm looking for someone who can build me a longbow and, who knows, get some shots with me when I travel to england. =]

I really love these things. I do not really have much money but I'm saving to go there, and being a long trip, I would like it to be special.

thanks guys! youre great!

Contact Pip Bickerstaffe at: www.bickerstaffebows.co.uk. He can make you whatever type of longbow/warbow you'd like. He's also a great guy. He treated me very well when I visited his shop. I pre-ordered a bow from him before my visit, and picked it up when I had my visit. Only down side... you'd better save up, cuz it won't be cheap. Good luck with your trip!

How much do you know about the bows, and what sort of weight did you want.

Do you still have the cherry wood longbow you made?  That was one beautiful bow, sir!
