Title: from tough cracked rock burlington

Beadman came over today and did a little trading and I showed him how to make a point from a really hard stone.  This was a battle till the very end.  2.5 hours of eliminating thickness and 3 cracks.

This one would have been a good one to have photographed as it was being made. Before the final two passes on both sides I had two island stacks with only one shot from the tip. I fluted both and took the remains with well planed thinning pressure flaking.  It was a long fight and I can still feel the effect in my hand this morning.
