Thanks Wayne , can't wait to try my hand at squirrels that is why I decided to start makeing arrows I know I will be loseing a lot of them, giveing up hunting with a gun the woods are just too peaceful to shoot a gun and disturb everything. Also I plan on giveing away some bows that I have made and being able to make the arrows to go along with it makes it all complete. i have everyone here to thank for all the help and Pappy and crew at twin oaks that taught me how to make a bow.

I love hunting with my bows, I also love making them, and I gave up the last of the wheels about a month ago but I will NEVER give up my guns.

Have you tried cutting a groove in the end of the brass and gluing a piece of metal banding or hacksaw blade in it yet? Saw that trick somewhere but can't remember where? Makes an awesome small game mini broadhead, and you can leave the edge flat or sharpen it a bit. Supposed to be hell on squirrels from what I hear.

I'd have to see that.

I'll do a simple how to on it. I was looking for the original how to on these simple heads, but couldn't find it.
I'll come back later this evening and post a little "How To" in the arrows forum, probably a title like "Empty shell casing small game heads" or something to that effect.
