That's a good looking bow.  Ipe and hickory made a nice contrast,

Thanks guys I am stickler for the finish so I will get it all smoothed up and finished out clean.

Very nice looking bow Stonepoint...I just tried to pull of a similar build but I wasn't as smart as you, I used Teak (had access to a bunch for free) and had the back crystallize on me.  I love the Hickory contrast with the dark wood so it looks like I'll have to try and get my hands on some Ipe.  Thanks for sharing!

Lee I can get my hands on ipe if you want some but it is usually 1 1/2 wide.

I just final finish sanded it and finished it. Added the hair rest and back plate she will be dry in the morning.
