Title: Wanted to post it before I broke it.

My first sucessful rhyolite point a little over 3in. Started to hinge on one side, so I decided to take a photo before I broke it.

Looks good to me. Seems like breaking them is just a part of process to learning or "right of passage" maybe. Just makes the ones that don't break just that much sweeter...good luck, keep us posted.

Good one! Yep, notch it and haft it - it's ready. I had one day before yesterday same color and shape, went to side notching it and snap ::). Oh well, move on to the next one..
