The rock fairy left a medium flat rate of Georgetown this past weekend. I haven't messed with it much. I messed with a small, relatively useless piece with a hammer stone and it seems to respond well. How well does wood, stone and bone work this stuff?

Justin, you can knap anything abo. If you can knap rhyolite abo the the gorge town will be a cake walk. Its all about what your after, and what you want from your flint knapping experience.

exactly what jesse said ;D

The high-grade Georgetown works great with antler or copper either way. Of course, though, you don't want to give a perfectly good piece of rock copper poisoning. ;D You don't need the wood on it, the wood works better on the hard stuff like rhyolite and quartzite. The low-grade, grainy, concrete-y Georgetown works really good with wood, though.

Diamond saw blade and diamond grinder work with the reducing stage real good. ;D

Get a magic elf to knap it for you and then take all the credit ;)

Worked soime with antler and stone yesterday. Indirect antler and hammerstone reduction. A pleasure to work with. Hands down the best stuff I've knapped.
