this is my first osage bow ,i have a bit of osage ive taken to one ring and finally got a bow from one of the staves ;D this is a possible trade bow ,it came in underwieght 42# @26 was shootin for 50#+ so i am goin to try another. it is backed w/ silk and some snakeskin i got from criveraville . its 59" ntn and shoots good "my fav so far" ,will post full draw and braced pics soon as the shellac cures. now i see why everyone likes this wood i dont want to use anything else now :)

Very pretty profiles on that bow SA, I dont see anything wrong with taking her to the huntin woods, shoots where ya look...thats the key to clean kills.

40+ pounds is generally enough to kill if the shot is true and you don't go for some distance record.
Nice bow, especially your first Osage work.
