this is a bow I'm building for a guy at work, it's for his nephew,it's 66" ntn, 68 3/4" ttt, 45# @ 28", about 1/2" set and just over an inch after shooting for awhile, walnut tip's and handle the handle has some hickory accent strips in it, sorry about the pics it's raining and had to take them in the garage, I'll get a full draw once I get the grip on it and it stops raining, Bub(http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt320/bubncheryl/handpad001-6.jpg)

I like the detail in the handle. Your craftsmanship is top notch!
-
nice looking bow. What kind of maple is that? It doesn't look, from the pics, like any I am familiar with.
Darcy :)

good looking bow, bubby. like the angle accents on the handle and the tips are nice and thin and add a bit of class. good job Eric

Good looking bow. I love the combo of dark to light woods.
-
That's so cool what you did with the riser. I love maple as a bow wood. Great job.
-
Excellent shooter. I'm sure it shoots wonderfully; she must be well behaved since it's a good and proven design you used. The handle gives a very nice touch to it.
(Still waiting for the full draw pic ;))
Maple? Hm...if you didn't tell me what wood it was, I would swear it was Hickory! In fact, I still think it is hickory. That pic showing the handle is really clear. But what do I know: it could just as well be some species of maple I've not worked with.
-
excellent craftmanship . your turning into a bow machine >:D
-
thank's Ken, but I'm what, about 8 bows a month behind you ;D
Darksoul, it's maple there's no figure or anything and it got a little darker than usuall after tru oil, but the accents in the handle are the only hickory I had in the shop when I built it
thank's ryoon, yea maple makes a good fast bow
tell I'm not gonna make it this year, I'll try and plan it out for next
thank's prostaff
