Title: Texas Pan Handle Fires
Post by: Wolf Watcher on March 01, 2011, 03:36:10 pm
Looking at the atlas I am starting to worry that El D who lives around Stinnet maybe in harms way with wild fires burning to the west of him.  Hope to hear from him.  He posted some smoke pictures that were close enough to photograph.  Never thought much about it until the news said several homes had been burned.  Sending some prayers that he and his wife are OK?  Joe

What's up there to burn besides grass?

Hope all is well too.

Wish I was still in the business of playing with fire, I'd head over there and help dig line.

Mike hasn't knocked on my door looking for a place to stay yet.  I guess everything is OK.   ;D

There have been some wildfires out here too, with high winds blowing it around.  The biggest hazard for us is the smoke.  There have been some tragic accidents on the highways due to low visibility.
