hi everybody! - this bow here is the fourth bow i ever made and it's the firstone i made without any help from someone;
this was almost 2 years ago.
it came out underweight with 35#@28" and i gave it to my friend katja. the bow is bamboo backed hickory. at the moment, i have it back for a minor repair.
well, when i checked the tiller i decided to take some pictures to share with you. the bend should be a good bit more towards the handle and the upper limb is a bit too bendy at mid-limb, i guess, but i think it's not too bad a bow overall... ;D

That is very nice for a "beginner" bow. I can barely look at some of my early attempts. :-[

Nice bow, Frank. Not bad for your first solo flight. ;) Pat

thanks gordon, thanks pat! - well, number 2 was ugly, didn't really bend at all and broke in the handle. i burned it together with number five, that actually never got finished due to too many problems poppin' up while making it. to tell the truth i cannot even look at all of my nowadays attempts ;D ;D ;D
thanks again,
frank

That is a pretty bow. Nice for your 4th attempt or nice for you 200th.
Gordon, I have no trouble looking at my first attempts that remain. They are good bows, unless blew all over the yard. ;D Justin
