Title: where to get flax ??

My source of flax is no longer stocking it....
looking for natural, unbleached long line flax for bow backing.
anyone know of a place to order it ??

You might try places that sell hand paper making supplies.  There used to be a place here in Indiana that sold everything from ready to use pulp to raw fiber.  All kinds of fiber, from flax to hemp to banana, if memory serves.

another option is to grow and harvest it your self just a idea :)

I have what's left of a 4oz spool after backing a bow.  You're welcome to it as I won't use it.
