so here you are. it's from one peace of boo, that was originally a skiing stick.
it really has like 0.5#@20" :D it's 44" long. the handle is toilet paper, with electric tape and some jute sting i found, yellow wrappings are from silk. It's my first "R/D" bow. I'm quite happy with the looks. just so you know, the skiing stick's diameter was like a little under 1 inch. that's why so less draw weight. looks like a lot of set, but my form was like that. It sure cheered up my Friday ;D

It definitely bends through the handle! ;) Have you shot it for distance? ;D Pat

I think I won't Even try seriously. hard to make 5 grain arrows that are 20" long ::)
-
That is funny. And Bob said I have to much time on my hands. ;D Justin

What do ya hunt with it Justin? Roaches ;D Though I bet their real ferocious roaches.

Well, if you find some really light cedar or pine the arrow problem might just clear up.... :)
That's fun, good job. ;)

So how can your Friday night be boring when you make a cool weapon like this one? Nice floors by the way. Bookmarked, too, for May Self Bow of the Month

looks like DanaM was not the onlyone who hadn't drank coffee yet, I meant to say "A little fun for what was a boring Friday night" ;D
-
oh and DanaM, I know that the roach thing was a joke, but there are none in finland :D maybe I'll hunt mice with it on our cottage ;D
-
I sure don't want you to feel left out, so how about I trade you a big old box of roaches for some of that Finnish wood. ;D I guess you could go hunting shrew. Justin
