Title: Knapping Hand Pads

I parted out an old golf cart but kept the floor mat which looks to me like good knapping hand pad material.  It is black rubber, about 3/8" thick and quite stiff.  I'm looking for stone or trade points to put on the boo arrow shafts I'm slowly getting straight.  The mat is quite large so I can cut a piece to any size you want.  And, since I'm just starting in knapping, if this isn't good pad material let me know so I don't mislead anybody.
