What is your favorite saw blade for bandsaw? i cut osage so how wide and and how many points? I have a 93.5 in delta

I use a 1/2" blade with either 4 or 6 tpi for cutting osage. I have a low bow building budget so I get my blades at Lowes. There should be someone on here that can recommend a good brand blade that you can order. I think timberwolf is one of them, but I'm not sure.
When I got my first bandsaw, a 9" benchtop, it had a fine tooth blade on it. I couldn't wait to try it out on a scrap piece of osage. I think I made about a 2" cut when it started slowing down and smoking. I stopped the saw and checked the blade. There wasn't a tooth left on it. You couldn't tell the front from the back of the blade.

i was just wondering what others were using ...i found a 93.5, 1/2 with 3 tpi was the only one they had.

Google up Timberwolf , they will make any sized blade to fit your saw. I use a 3 tpi.

Yep Timberwolf. Better to spend money on one good blade than a lot of cheap ones, saves wood too.

I only keep 3/4" carbide tip blades in my 14" jet. I cut a lot of tropicals and it pays off in the long run.
