Hi folks
I would like some direction regarding getting information on making the best possible bow string. Where is the best information on that available? (Traditional Bowhunters Bible--which volume?). What about in Bow Accessories: Equipment and Trimmings You Can Make, by Volkmar Hubschmann. Thanks for all your help!!

TBB Vol 2, "Crafting the Flemish String" dvd, occassional articles in PA are how I learned. Still kind of working on the technique. I'd say TBB Vol 2 is a real good place to start.

"Doing the Twist" by Chad Weaver is very informative and I would highly recommend it. I think 3Rivers carries it. Watching Chad wipe the sweat off while filming in 100deg temps of humid Mississippi is almost worth the cost.

What Pat said, the DVD helped me alot !

Doing the twist is how I learned. Go to the trading post and ask if anyone has a copy.

hugostead,
Here's a pretty good article on the Flemish twist from one of our local Australian sites. The PDF to go for in the one linked to in the second post the post by GrahameA, the link in the first post is a bad link.
