Here's a cherokee style osage bow I finished for a customer its 65 inches long, very slight recurves. draws up to 30 inches but its 54lbs @ 28 draw. The arrow is cane about 33 inches long, shoots very nicely with this bow. I really like the way this one shoots despite some hand shock, it launches the arrow with authority and only got about 3/4 stringfollow after being shot. Did some decorative painting as well as a rawhide handle, Im sure it wouldve looked great raw aswell. Here it is, comments or critique appreciated :)
Oh yea its finished with some tung oul and a couple of layers of polyurethane for extra protection.

Nice bow. I'm a little worried by what looks like a sizable knot right at the edge of one of the limbs. Is that what I'm seeing, or are my eyes just misinterpreting your photographs?

Looks like a great bow! Very nice tiller and decoration. Jaweg

:) thankyou.
Eric: Your eyes are correct, that is a knot there. I left that slightly thicker on the belly and of course followed a ring on the back so it should be fine. So far after a couple hundred shot its holding up well, I dont think it will be a problem.
