Title: Barren doe
Post by: Timo on December 05, 2010, 11:57:20 pm
Second of the season and darned glad to get her. Been a tough year around my parts this year.

11 yd shot,45 # selfbow, magnus 1 with a cane arrow.  Gave her a corinary, made it 40 yds and DRT. I was surprised at the damage to the off leg bone, looked like it had been shot with a rifle.

Sorry for the blurred pic....it was late and 24 degrees had my fingers a bit numb. :o

Nice big doe !  Way to get it done  :)  I've had 4 shots this year all clean misses  :-[ but better than hitting them and not finding them  :)
