So did some road hunting tonight for DOR snakes. Found this snake of a lifetime. A wild albino gopher/bull snake. DOR unfortunately and too small to be a good bow skin. I will be preserving it and donating it to the University of Arizona.

Yeah we get a lot of those here too they end up looking like wax paper with a pattern. I usually go out at the time the snakes are moving so I usually find them after the first hit but often on the way to work the next morning I'll find the wax paper ones. I've seen people cross lanes to run the damn things over. Pisses me off! 7 snakes tonight. Not all bow worthy but a couple are.

Haven't forgot you Ken. Still hoping to get some of those hickory boards from you. Within the next week or so I'll be skinning up the freezer contents and I'll see what I have for you. But the gopher's not getting skinned. It'd only be big enough for about 3 arrows wraps anyway and well it's going in a jar with some alcohol ;D
