I have mine set up with a 2x4 (6')with a yard stick for draw lenth.Deer scale
,small block and tackle (inch strap) used for raising deer to be skinned.Atteched to the bottom of your 2x4.I have another 2x4 carved out for the handle of the bow. You'll have to cut off you yard stick for the lenth of your handle 2x4.Add the yard stick under it. Good for never leaveing your limbs locked in place.Which puts exture stress on your limbs.Which you never want.Works great I used this system for 20 years. PM me if you need any more help.

There are lots of better ways to do it but here's what I use.   When I built my shop I extended one of the ceiling joists over the "butcher shop" so I could suspend the scale from it.  Then I added a pully attached to a bracket near the floor.  It looks like this:

The scale has a wooden yardstick suspended on a wire so it stays with the bow's back as it's drawn.  I may eventually add a second pulley so I get a little mechanical advantage.  As I get older, pulling 60lbs this way isn't as easy as it once was.  I'm using my bow stringer as a long string in the picture.  You can see it's much too long.  I need to do a little more floor tillering on this bow and then put string nocks on it.

Hope this helps.

Here's the tiller tree set up I use, with 150# scale inline.

Oooh I like that a lot.  Nice setup, especially that dial scale.  But I can't imagine pulling 100lb+ on that rope.  :o

I've used this set up to tiller bows out to 110#.

Maybe the handle really helps.  I'm going out in a few minutes to do some tillering, I'll replace my loop with a handle and see if that works better.  Maybe you're just a lot stronger... ;)
