Title: Maple self bow

Here's another bow I made for the wife of a friend. I've made him several bows, and his wife has shown some interest in archery, but didn't think she could afford a bow, so this was a gift to her. Maple, 62" NtN, 30#@26", purpleheart accents, Strunk style grip. 1/2" of set.

Gorgeous bow, I like how smooth the lines are.  Is it from a board or stave?

It's hard maple, and the limbs are 1 3/8" at their widest.
