Title: Stones for arrow heads in Connecticut
Post by: hondo49 on September 28, 2010, 03:07:01 pm
I am very new to this but completely captivated by the whole primitive / survival process.  Can anyone advise me on what stones native to Connecticut arrow heads can be made from.  I believe that quatrz is pretty abundant but from what I've read, it is very difficult to work.  Does anyone have knowledge of an acceptable alternative?  Thx, h ???
