Title: questions about tip overlays

so,what kind of glue is best..and is there any tips you might have to help out...i havent done this and its going to be my first time...john

I use a thick super glue.

I use super glue or tb3 depending on how big a hurry I am in,never had much problem with either.
Be sure and degrees the hoofs with denature alcohol. :)

John, I usually use TB3 but I'd try the super glue. My experiences with TB3 is that it holds well, but it's messy... If the space between pieces is not real tight and if the runoff of yellow glue is severe, you'll have a time trying to polish those delicate tips up. BUT, to each his own... I'm sure many fellars here have had no problems using TB3.
