Title: New HHB bow with pics
Post by: Simple Hunter on September 03, 2010, 05:40:18 pm
I have not posted for awhile (work and medical reasons) but I do have a new bow that is just finished.

It is about 50# at 27in.  I don't have a scale and if I did I would not use it----I go by what feels good to me.
62in long and is one of my fastest bows.  (I love hophornbeam)

Looks pretty sweet. Resembles the black locust Marc made for me.

Here are some more pics.  I'll put a full-draw pic on tomorrow.  The bead on the leather stitch for the handle is a fossil I found in the creek.  Thanks!

Nice looking bow. Your tiller seems OK, but it's really hard to tell in the pics.

Very nice HHB bow, one of my favorite whitewoods.  Got it bookmarked for Sept Self BOM contest too.  Any chance on a clearer full draw shot for the contest?  It's gonna be hard to see your tiller in those.  :)
