Post by: part Cherokee on July 27, 2010, 01:20:56 pm
Hey
Where can i buy the LIGHT WEIGHT PVC pipe for bow shipping.
I tried Lowes but they only have the heavy duty commercial pvc.
Can you buy it at the US Post office? HELP!!!

You can buy Cardboard Cylinders from the Post Office...I have always bought Schedule 10 Sewer Pipe for PVC Containers...quite a bit thinner than the Schedule 40 PVC for Piping...and I buy it all the time at the local Home Depot...

I've gotten it at Lowe's here. It may be on a different aisle than the schedule 40.

I get mine from Lowe's too. It is not with the Schedule 40 but across the isle. It is drain and vent pipe.

Mullet was just trying to confuse the daytime-fulltime knowledgeable employees brought to us by Home Depot, Lowes, and other fine establishments across the country.

I knew what you meant but wasn't familiar with the proper lingo.
But now that I've exposed myself and am currently unemployed, you have awakened in me an opportunity.
I'm headed to Home Depot and Lowes to apply for a part time job in the plumbing and archery bow shipping department.

I found 10 ft. long 4" PVC pipe at ACE hardware for about $10. Lighter weight than the stuff from  HD or Lowe's and they will even cut it to size for you.
