Title: First Arrow Finished
Post by: chasing crow on July 25, 2010, 08:47:08 pm
Well, I cut about 1&1/2" off and it shoots great. Poplar shoot, 2 fletch with 5" turkey feathers and finished off with 150 grain trade point. I like the finished product. Now to give it some brothers!

Definitely a very cool arrow. I was wondering do you notice any difference in flight characteristics between 2 feathers and 3 feathers?

I'm not the most observant person but I find it flys just as well as my other arrows. Stablizes quickly and flys true. So far all shooting has been close range - 10 to 15 yds.

Did you make the trad points yourself?

Hillbilly,
I got the trade points from 3 Rivers. They are very nicely made.
