Mason is still sleeping off his cough medicine and I am cup #2 of morning Joe. Just wanted to again thank you two for all the help and teaching given to us yesterday ! We had a great time hanging out in the pit at Pappy's with ya'll. I now have about 10hrs of knapping under my belt total and felt like I learned lots yesterday. Had no idea that ishi stick would be that hard to use ! Just got to learn not to get lost on a biface and know what the next move is in the chess game, right Shannon ??? Got to learn convexity and how to keep that on BOTH sides of the biface. Thanks again guys for listening to all our dumb newbie questions and your patience with us. Thanks for giving back ! That is the one lesson I want to teach Mason in life for sure.

Maps are a good thing Jesse ! Right now that is the hardest for me.... being able to read the rock and know where to hit it next. Like Shannon says, " It is a chess game " . Glad we bought the good shorty boppers, good control with them compared to the longer ones.
