I've found a few things while cleaning out a closet that I'd like to trade. What I need: A good, thick leather armguard or some fealthers. Here's what I have:
1.) A lipped powder horn. Has a wooden stopper, no strap. Nicely made.
2.) Adjustable brass powder measure for blackpowder. Goes in increments up to 120 grains.
3.) The book Shotguns & Shotgunning by Layne Simpson.
4.) An author autographed copy of Buffalo Palace by Terry Johnston.

What is a lipped powder horn?

The edge of the horn's outer wall carries past the bottom plug, as two holes drilled in it to accept a cord that then attaches to the strap. This instead of a finial on the bottom plug to accept a strap.

Can you post pics or e-mail pics to me.

Yes, I just need to get a memory card for my digital camera. I discovered the helpful clerk at Best Buy sold me the wrong one. ::) I discovered this while collecting sap; wanted to take some pics and then discovered this.
I will send you some pics this week.

That cord I sent you should work for to upload pics...Hmm sorry that hasn't worked out for ya. I think all you'll have to do is plug the cord into the camera then plug the cord into the computer. When you want to upload your pics go to "computer" and it should have an icon that says something about an external source to download from...or something like that. Hope it works for you.
