What are you using to power your feather burner?
-
Those look like some sturdy, and functional tools. Did you have a plan that you used?

I would like to build a feather burner. Can you give some details about it.

What did you use for the turning wheel on your cresting machine? God Bless

The ribbon gets hot if you put 12volts on it, you can buy these ribbons at 3rivers i believe for $2. I have tried it with goose feathers and it works great. Does smell al lot. The only thing that is adjustable is the piece that holds the nock in place, this is to set the arrow and flecthing in place for burning.

Not really a plan just combined information I found here and on other forums

A transformer that transforms 220v to 12v

It's a roller skate wheel, just to gear the rpm's down, a cresting chuck from 3rivers fits right in there

So, to get 12 volts, do you use a car battery or something else. Thanks for the information.

Anything DC will work...Car Battery...Lantern Battery...Soldering Iron/Soldering Gun (thats what I made mine from)....or an old R/C Train Transformer will work great also...hope that this helps

Best thing I've found is a 12V battery charger. Red end to one end of the wire black to the other.
