Do you suppose he'll ever try to whittle down a bow?
I got to working on my stave last night for a little bit ... and Ethan (3 years old) decides he needs to scrape some on his stave. Mom found him a nice piece of bandsawed scrap and he pulled him up a chair and went to work with a plastic knife!
Too funny if you ask me!

ha ha, that's awesome! My 3 yr old loves pulling on the rope when I have a bow on the tillering tree. Great stuff.

Was thinking the same thing!! It'll sweep up fairly easily but some of the smaller pieces get walked around the house into everything :D hehe
Wonderful picture :) My son tries to help me out whenever I'm in DIY mode.

Aero ... my wife is very laid back. I don't do too much at one time so the clean-up is very fast.

I like the way he's worked out how to clamp that piece of wood between leg and belly...he's gonna be a true primitive bowyer.
Great kid
