here is two sycamore with mahogany handles that i built today ,both 66 in , the mollegabet is 43lbs at 28 , semi pyramid is 41, not a bad wood but i wouldnt rate it at the top of my wish list . i think im gonna leave the handles plain so i can see the mahogany, just shoot off of my knuckle, or shoot my knuckle off which ever comes first ;D

Looks great ! I love the look of those Mollegabets, i have one in the works out of White Oak, but i developed a splinter on the back, now i need to back it with something.

Them are really nice, bud. Ya know I like Mollegabets, but damn if that prymid aint pretty sexy too. Jeese, I'm going to have to hold off puttin mine on fer awhile.....probably take 3 of my newest to make one of yours ;D

Man I can't wait to try a molly design...Only four more days till im done working 7 day weeks then its bow making time.
How would you compare sycamore to red oak??
I wanna build a sycamore bow for my friend cuz thats her favorite tree...but there are none locally I can find to cut down :(

josh , these are just ordinary bows i have something else in mind for bom , rich thanks and i wouldnt want to compare your sticks to mine, you know like apples and rotten oranges !lol, thanks jawge, aznboi my opinion is red oak is the better of the two you would need to go a little thincker with the Syc. , you looking for board or stave ? thanks wolgen
