ok that's more the size i can try with this swedish flint i got. I am going to be attempting some more small ones.  leapingbare- sorry i have not yet got the chance to call you  about your advice on that other dagger i made....the one you said could be stitched if i squared up the handle.... well when i get back to my weekend on manday and tuesday i'll give ya a call if it's ok. I am really excited about this danish dagger thing 'cos my grandparents on  my moms side were born in sweden and  denmark. I think i am ready to move on from knapping fish to knapping daggers.

Thanks guys  :)
Yea Tim thats what my gf said.

 aaron, Call any time.

These little ones are just as hard as this big ones but they dont take near as long. maybe 2 hrs in each one. Aaron doing the little ones would really help you understand how to do the big ones.

Thats the 1st type IV-B I've done its stitched on both sides and has a diamond cross section, heres a pic.

Damn Jesse, you need to quit posting such ugly flintknapping works on here!  I mean....damn!!  The thread says flintknapping....not busted a#% flint bashing!!

HAHAHA...jsut kidding dude!   ;D ;D  Those little daggers are super cool!  Since I make tiny bird points, maybe I should try those little baby daggers.  Those are more my size!  HAHAHA....   I'll call them bird daggers so I keep with the theme of bird points.
