That leather looks good, Chris, thought you would like it. What is that bow called? I like the profile.
-
it's called the turk. i just ordered some 35/55 goldtips for it. hoping to get it set up for hog hunting next month.
-
Thats just like the one Jesse bought isn't it?....If so thats a Sweet Bow...I went and looked...I wanted one BAD...but all that was there was 35-45 pounders left
-
No that's not the same bow style. I got lucky and went home with a 3 piece take-down @56#.
-
this one draws 50#@31", so i'm guessing it's around 45#@28". been wanting a medium weight bow to play with. just got my 35/55 goldtips in today and i'll hopefully get them fletched tonight. can't wait to see how they fly. love these little bows!!

yeah i like eliphant leather. its awsome stuff.
uh, i dont think that piggie is running off.
-
thought i'd try one mullet style. gotta get with the practicing since we have a hog hunt next month.
-
It works, Chris, unless you hit it in the nose. Then they run off with your nice, expensive arrow. :-[
-
lol i know this is off topic but while we talkin about shootin pigs in the head, they had a "running" but more like flying, cuz it was ten foot in the air, pig at a 3d shoot. i lead it to much and hid it an inch behid the ear. still only got the 5 points for a flesh would. >:(

Mine is the serpentine. Ive been shooting it a lot and working on the longer draw. 65# at 31" I am getting it back 29 -30" now and man does that thing bury an arrow :o Took me a bit to get the feel for it but I really like it.
Leather looks cool Chris

I'm afraid to ask how you got a hold of elephant leather...
Was the circus in town?
